Elegant Easter Egg Basket

Hi, thank you for viewing our Blog Hop
I created this elegant basket made from cardstock. I was inspired by Sam from Mixed Up Craft when she made a tea cup. I didn't have a big enough circle die so I improvised and used a bowl!

Using a pencil I drew around the bowl then cut out the circle freehand. I then placed a smaller circle die in the middle (guestamating) and ran it through the big shot.

I then cut into the center, after deciding how big I wanted my basket I cut away the excess and adhered it together with liquid glue. Next I die cut another circle which was largle than the circumference of the bottom of the basket & adhered it onto a doilie. Using the starburst punch I punched out the circe to adhere the inside bottom to the larger circle to create a sturdy base. Using a 1"x 11&3/4" I attached the handle.

Finally I decorated my basket and added chocolate eggs.

Hope you like this simple but elegant 3D project and please check out all of the rest of our projects:-

Valentines Card

Simple Tent Textured Card

Hi everyone,
I've made this tent fold card measuring 4x5". I've used subtle & trendy colours using the lovely SU products

If you would like to make this card that doesnt just have to be for Valentines I've written (typed) the instructions for you to follow:-

For the base card -A4 cardstock (CrumbCake) cut @ 10x4" scored on the longside @ 5"
A layer piece of (Lovely Lipstick) cardstock cut @ 3,3/4"x4,3/4"
Two pieces of (Very Vanilla) cardstock cut @ 3,3/4"x4,3/4" for the inside and embossed layer. After embossing (Basket Weave folder) I tore around the edges and inked them up lightly (Soft Sea Foam ink)
I stamped the sentiment from the (Forever Lovely Bundle) with (Lovely Lipstick ink) onto (Crumb Cake) cardstock and cut it out with the (Classic Label punch
Using (All My Love) DSP I fussy cut out 3 flowers
(Forever Lovely Bundle) i& cardstock (Soft Sea foam) using the die for the smaller ornamental leaves above the sentiment
Using (Well Said Bundle) for the larger sentiment and ornamental leaves.
I die cut the word 'happy' in both (Crumb Cake & Lovely Lipstick) cardstock and off set the them and glued them together.

All of the products can be purchased from the 2019 Spring/Summer & Annual Stampin' Up! catalogue

Decorated using white cardstock for frame of DSP cut @ 2 &1/4 x 3 &1/2 - 2 pieces and another cut @ 4 &3/4 x 3 &1/2. The DSP was cut @ a 1/4 of an inch smaller than the pieces of white cardstock.
